Northland Motor Technologies offers a line of Drives for brushless DC (Electronically Commutated) motors. The compact size and wide range of input voltages covered by the 3 new models makes the NMT BD Series of drives ideal for use on equipment requiring variable speed, remote controllability and reversing operation.

The series consists of three standard models based on input voltage; 10 – 52 VDC, 120VAC, and 240 VAC. All models are design for use with hall based three phase BLDC motors. Each model includes 3 different speed (performance) adjustment topologies; potentiometer, 1.5 – 10 VDC, or 0.5 – 5 VDC signal inputs. Standard features include;

• Input current: 10 A max
• Switching frequency: 20 kHz
• Waveform: 6 – Step Trapezoidal
• Bus voltage: 215 – 260 VDC
• Hall spacing selection: 60 or 120 degrees
• Ambient operation temperature: 0 – 40°C

Factory configured and ready to use right out of the box the BD series of Drives is ideal for most simple applications.
