3rd International Conference on advances in rotor blades for wind turbines

Rotorblades_banner_300x250The conference is scheduled for February 25 to 27, 2014, in Bremen, Germany, and will deal with efficient ways to optimise the CoE throughout the blade lifecycle. Topics include:  

• New coatings to prevent leading-edge erosion

• Review XL blades and related challenges for design and production

• Explore efficient ways to mitigate noise through passive flow control

• Get the operators’ view on blade damages and maintenance efficiencies

• Evaluate tools and processes to exploit the potential for improving blade production
