New Winergy CEO Aarnout Kant
Effective earlier this month, Aarnout Kant has taken over management at Winergy. He succeeds Stefan Tenbrock, who is now part of the Siemens Mechanical Drives Business Unit as CEO; Winergy being part of the MD Business Unit.
Aarnout Kant has been with the company for 24 years and since 2014 has been manager of Strategy and Marketing. Like Tenbrock, Kant originally was employed as a mechanical engineer with the gear unit manufacturer A. Friedrich Flender AG (now Siemens AG), who founded Winergy in 2001. Among other things, Kant managed the large industrial gear unit subsegment at the location in Voerde, Germany between 2003 and 2008 . After that he was the Regional Business Unit manager of Mechanical Drives in the USA until 2013.
