Abaris Training Resources, in cooperation with TenCate Advanced Composites, has agreed to use TenCate AmberTool prepregs and 3M nano-silica fortified tooling prepregs exclusively in their “Advanced Composite Mold Fabrication for Production and Repairs” training classes. TenCate is the exclusive supplier for the 3M brand of fortified tooling prepregs.

With this arrangement, Abaris will continue to provide state-of-the-art composite tool fabrication training with long-established, as well as new and innovative low temperature curing tooling prepregs that are designed to produce the highest quality composite molds and fixtures that function at elevated service temperatures.

Abaris has a long tradition of teaching proper tool laminate construction techniques and processing methods to industry.  This is now enhanced with TenCate’s support in providing their students with detailed material and process information on their tooling prepregs.  In addition, students attending Abaris mold fabrication courses will have direct access to the TenCate tooling technical support network.
