Altra Industrial Motion recently launched a new website, www.altraheavyduty.com.

The site provides engineers with an overview of the capabilities and product solutions available from the brands of the Altra Heavy Duty & Overrunning Clutch Brake group (HDOCB), which includes Wichita Clutch, Industrial Clutch, Twiflex Limited, Formsprag Clutch, Marland Clutch, and Stieber Clutch.

The new website contains six product sections: backstops and holdbacks, brakes, caliper brakes, clutches, overrunning clutches, and combination clutch-brakes. Product photos, features, benefits, and specifications are included for each Altra brand solution that can be applied to improve operational efficiency, productivity, safety, and reliability.

Visitors can view details of the HDOCB group’s 360˚ design, engineering, and testing support—the most comprehensive in the industry. Altra offers a variety of services encompassing product sizing and selection assistance, design simulation and testing, data analysis and sharing, installation support, and field performance checks.

Altraheavy.com provides a complete list of tests offered, such as temperature and immersion, as well as testing apparatus’ available, featuring the largest rig in the industry. Key market applications include mining & aggregate, marine, metals, energy and lifts & elevators.
