By WPED Staff | July 19, 2024

The American Renewable Energy Standards and Certification Association (ARESCA) is calling for experts who are directly and materially affected parties who are interested in participating as a member of an American National Standards (ANS) consensus body, known as the ARESCA Standards Committee of the Board (SCB), to support the adoption of the following IEC TC 88 standards as ANS:

  2. ARESCA 61400-60-202x, Wind energy generation systems – Part 60: Validation of computational models (identical national adoption of IEC PAS 61400-60:2024)
  3. ARESCA 61400-24.1-202x, Amendment 1 – Wind energy generation systems – Part 24: Lightning protection (identical national adoption of IEC 61400-24 AMD1:2024)
  4. ARESCA 61400-11-2-202x, Wind energy generation systems – Part 11-2: Measurement of wind turbine noise characteristics in receptor position (identical national adoption of IEC TS 61400-11-2:2024)

If you wish to participate on the SCB, please express your interest by September 2, 2024, to George Kelly, the ARESCA SCB Secretary via email (secretary@aresca.us).
