AWS Truepower releases November 2017 Wind Trends Bulletin

By Michelle Froese | December 7, 2017

AWS Wind Trends BulletinRenewable energy consultants, AWS Truepower, have released their Wind Trends Bulletin for November 2017. Monthly wind performance maps for November show deviations in the wind resource from average conditions for the month in every region of the world.

The monthly Wind Trends Bulletin is based on a custom combination of three re-analysis datasets: ERA-Interim, MERRA, and CFSR. The use of all three allows for rapid, reliable updates of global wind conditions.

Knowing the performance of the wind can help wind developers understand the performance of their wind plant. AWS Truepower can help identify areas of improvement, reduce downtime, and maximize a wind plant’s energy production.

Download the November 2017 Wind Trends Bulletin here.
