Boiler manufacturer buys more rolling and bending machines

By Paul Dvorak | May 18, 2012

A Middle East-based boiler manufacturer has bought more Davi bending machines, such as these. One feature that gets frequence positive comment is an ability to communicate by video from the machine to the Davi service center.

A manufacturer of heavy boilers in Middle East has purchased two Davi plate rolls and a large angle-rolling machine. The plate rollers have capacities of 4,000 x 75 (13 ft x 3 in.) and 3,000 x 26 mm (10 ft x 1 in.) while the angle roller can bend an HEA beam of 450 mm (18”), one of the biggest.

The company’s previous experience with the machine manufacturer led it to purchase six different machines over a 15-year period. The company confirmed its trust in DAVI mainly for the service received along the years through prompt deliveries of required consumables and spare parts, and Davi personnel when needed, for training, setup, and service.

What’s more, the ability to communicate by video from the machine to the Davi service center is something not found on other machine tools. The machine operator has all required information inside the Control, such as user manuals, schematics, exploded views, and spare parts list).
