Broadwind Energy, a manufacturer of turbine towers, gearboxes, and custom components, announced a new $39 million wind order.
The contract is for tower and fabrication orders, which will be made at two of Broadwind’s facilities: in Manitowoc, Wisconsin and Abilene, Texas, facilities.
“We are encouraged by our progress to date securing orders that will support a robust 2020 installation schedule,” said Broadwind President and CEO, Stephanie Kushner. “The fabrication order, which supports a wind energy repowering project, is further diversification of our customer and product base.”
The orders are scheduled for delivery in 2019 and 2020 for an undisclosed customer.
