Broadwind Energy, Inc. announced $11 million in new tower orders from a U.S. wind turbine manufacturer. Broadwind will produce these towers in its Manitowoc, Wisconsin facility for Q4 2016 delivery. It also adds to the company’s $34 million in new tower orders from two U.S. wind turbine manufacturers in May.
“To date in 2016, we have announced over $200 million in new tower orders, more than the last two years combined,” Broadwind President and CEO Stephanie Kushner. “This is a testament to the strength of the U.S. wind industry, the solid partnerships with our customers and the high-quality towers produced by the Broadwind team.”
