Mounted on a TOR 8X6 all wheel steer chassis, the SI-197 HDT is an insulated aerial capable of barehand work on power lines up to 765 Kv AC and 560 Kv DC.

Bronto Skylift will be showing and demonstrating their model SI-197 HDT insulated aerial and their new S-173 XDT with Bronto Skylift +4 operating system in Booth N2054 at the ICUEE show on September 29 – October 1, 2015 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Mounted on a TOR 8X6 all wheel steer chassis, the SI-197 HDT is an insulated aerial capable of barehand work on power lines up to 765 Kv AC and 560 Kv DC. It features a full 197 ft. of working height and 1000 lbs capacity from its standard 6-1/2 ft. x 3 ft. platform. Horizontal outreach is 72 ft. and, with 360º continuous turntable rotation and push-button outrigger deployment and automatic outrigger leveling, it can be quickly and easily set up to reach overhead work areas almost anywhere. Set up time from the setting of the jacks to full elevation is under 15 minutes.

The heavy duty S-173 XDT is mounted on an 6X6 Peterbuilt chassis and offers a 173 ft. working height, 100 ft. horizontal outreach and features a whopping 1400 lbs capacity in its over 23 sq. foot standard platform. The S-173 XDT at ICUEE will showcase the latest in Bronto’s computerized operating and maintenance technologies and introduce enhanced remote data collection capabilities.
