The Business Network for Offshore Wind recently released its 2017 Annual Report. The Network is a non-profit organization focused on the development of the offshore wind industry and advancement of its supply chain in the U.S.
The annual report summarizes how the organization works to expand the U.S wind market, and educate and build an offshore wind industry.
“Since the Network’s formation in 2012, we have held more than 40 supply chain activities; brought together over 1,000 businesses and government agencies, both domestically and internationally; educated and prepared U.S. businesses to enter the offshore wind industry; and helped establish the base for a U.S. supply chain,” writes Executive Director, Liz Burdock.
“Over the past five years, we have built a brand and established credibility as the leader in the development of the U.S. offshore wind supply chain.”
The report provides an overview of the Networks progress in the offshore industry, and shows the impact that its supporting members have had on the development of the offshore market. It covers work under the subtopics: Building, Growing, Educating, Connecting, and Leading.
