Abaris & KVE partner to provide advanced composites training in Europe

By Michelle Froese | April 19, 2017

Reno, Nevada’s Abaris Training Resources is partnering with The Netherlands, KVE Composites Group to provide exclusive composite training for the European market. KVE will hold training classes in advanced composite repairs at their facility at the Maastricht Aachen Airport. The company will use Abaris Training’s course curriculum in active classroom and workshop environments.

To better support European customers, Abaris and KVE have joined forces and together will provide the renowned Abaris Training curriculum in The Netherlands.

The collaboration will bring together an industry-experienced staff of instructors that can provide European companies with cutting-edge composite training for their engineers, technicians, and inspectors working with advanced composites.

“This collaboration is a great opportunity for both parties to create more growth and to bring the Abaris Training standard to a worldwide audience,’’ said Abaris CEO, Michael Hoke.

The first European class, ‘’Fabrication and Damage Repair – Phase I,’’ will be held during the week of June 12 to 16, 2017 at KVE’s Maastricht facility. Future European classes will be made available and the schedule will be posted on both the Abaris and KVE websites soon.

KVE Composites specializes in design, manufacturing, and repair of advanced composite structures with branches in The Hague, Ypenburg, and Maastricht-Aachen Airport, The Netherlands. Out of their Maastricht facilities KVE has set up advanced composite training at the airport’s Aviation Competence Center and has trained hundreds of students since 2014.
