For cable vibration problems, think Lapp’s Skintop strain relief

By Paul Dvorak | March 3, 2017

When you compare Skintop to other strain relief products, says Lapp USA, you discover the advantages that ensure uptime, increase productivity, minimize concern, make your job easier, and save you time and money.

Why choose Skintop

The Skintop integrated locking mechanism includes an internal ratchet inside the sealing portion of the cord grip.

The Skintop line’s level of performance is achieved through our understanding of the challenges maintenance people face every day, combined with advanced design engineering.  This results in products with anti-vibration protection, better sealing, gripping and clamping, and maximum protection from dirt, oils, and water.  When you combine Skintop with Lapp Group’s cable products, you have an installation that will keep equipment up and running.

Anti-vibration protection
The Skintop integrated locking mechanism includes an internal ratchet inside the sealing portion of the cord grip. This provides a self-locking and vibration-proof element that prevents the cap from loosening even when subjected to severe vibration

Resistance to temperature extremes
Skintop  cable glands can withstand temperatures as low as -70°C and as high as 100°C

Performance
Skintop glands can be found hard at work in a wide range of manufacturing and industrial applications. They have proven time and time again to ensure long-lasting performance and durability.
