Tubing in cables are also possible. These could carry cooling fluids.

Cicoil, a manufacturer of high performance flat cables provides Crystal-Clear Jacketed Cables which allow for quick, easy and safe inspection of cables in just about any application. Unlike industry standard cables infused with color additives and possible contaminants, the Cicoil  rubber design offers transparency, so you need not be concerned about “what’s under the hood / cable jacket”.

Due to the translucent outer jacket, the Ultra Pure cables also include the following benefits:

  • Confirmation of Design Continuity,
  • Ease of Troubleshooting for Wire & Shield Breakage,
  • Simplified Termination of Parallel Wires to Connectors and
  • Streamlined Circuit Tracing.

The company’s patented computer-controlled extrusion process allows placing each individual component in a flat, parallel, and Crystal-Clear profile, precisely controlling the spacing of each individual component, insulation thickness and the overall cable shape. This ensures that each of the shielded or unshielded conductors do not rub against each other or experience failure during operation.

The Crystal-Clear Jacketed Cables are Halogen-Free, UL Recognized, CE Conforming, RoHS & REACH Compliant, and are cured continuously, with no debris or material impurities, in an automated, climate controlled environment.  In addition, these non-shedding cables are 100% contaminant-free, Class 1 Clean Room Rated and exceed the Outgassing requirements of ASTM E-595.
