Composites One acquires Canadian-based BMB Solutions Composites

By Michelle Froese | February 1, 2017

Composites One, a North American supplier of composite raw materials and value added services, announced that it has closed on the purchase of Canadian-based BMB Solutions Composites, a supplier to the advanced composites markets.

With this acquisition, Composites One will be able to offer a more extensive product line, technical support, and an expanded composites team to service more Canadian customers.

With this acquisition, Composites One will serve the entire composites marketplace offering its extensive product line, technical support, and an expanded advanced composites team to more customers in Canada. The company will also be in a better position to provide unique products and services to manufacturers, including those in the advanced material space.

“We are looking forward to combining the experience and values of both organizations and creating an even stronger platform to service Canadian customers who produce products using advanced and traditional composites products,” said Leon Garoufalis, President and COO of Composites One. “We will continue to work diligently to position ourselves as the supplier of choice by partnering with customers to help them grow their business.”

BMB has two locations in Canada (in Quebec and Ontario), and its principals have been supplying Canadian aerospace and industrial manufacturers for more than 10 years. BMB makes innovative products more accessible to manufacturers by maintaining required specialized inventory and providing quick response times.

“BMB Solutions has been committed to expanding our business by providing valued solutions to our customers over the last decade,” said BMB Solutions Composites President, Patrick Morin. “Now with the strength and resources of a combined business, we will be even better positioned to drive that commitment in the marketplace.”
