Composites One presented with 2014 Gold Award from Great West Casualty

By Joshua Smalley | July 20, 2015

Composites One is a distributor of composite materials with more than 35 locations in North America. It offers composites manufacturers products from more than 600 of the industry’s top suppliers.

Composites One was presented the Gold Award by Great West Casualty Company as a part of the 2014 National Safety Awards Program. This is the 13th consecutive year that Composites One has been named an award-recipient by Great West Casualty Company.

The National Safety Awards Program recognizes carriers in similar operations (truckload and less than truckload) with awards based on their year-end preventable accident results. Carriers are eligible to receive a Platinum, Gold, Silver or Participatory award. This past year, the program drew more than 750 participants from across the country.

“The Composites One organization takes immense pride in being recognized again this year by Great West,” said Leon Garoufalis, President for Composites One. “Maintaining safety in all aspects of our day-to-day operations is a core value at Composites One and translates directly to our value proposition for customers in quality service and dependability. Our outstanding safety record is a result of our company-wide focus on safety and compliance.”
