CPC expands offering of small plastic non-spill coupling

CPC says its small feature-packed coupling provides a reliable, drip-free connection.

CPC (Colder Products Company), a provider of quick disconnect couplings and fittings for plastic tubing, announces the expansion of its NS1 Series quick disconnect couplings to now include 1/4-28 male straight thread terminations. The smallest plastic non-spill quick disconnect coupling now available on the market, the NS1 provides a secure, reliable connect and disconnect in a user-friendly, compact footprint.

NS1 Series couplings can now easily adapt to any standard 1/4-28 flat bottom port, making it simple to retrofit existing systems for increased performance and efficiency. Designed to work with industry standard ferrules, the incorporation of the NS1 1/4-28 male thread termination will allow end users to experience greater ease-of-use with dip-tube assemblies. The NS1’s small size enables it to replace a nut-and-ferrule method of connection in many applications and makes it ideal for tight spaces.

NS1 Series couplings include non-spill shutoff valves that ensure drip-free disconnects. The dry-break style design of the NS1 provides ultra-low air inclusion, minimizing contaminants and eliminating the need to purge air bubbles from systems. With its intuitive, ergonomic thumb latch, the NS1 provides users with the “CPC Click” and confidence a reliable connection has been made.

The NS1 Series couplings are constructed from polypropylene and PEEK materials that ensure reliable strength and chemical compatibility for a wide range of applications. Available for precise applications with tubing sizes 1/8-inch and smaller, NS1 Series quick disconnect couplings are ideal for applications within medical devices and In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) including reagent bottles, printing and ink handling industries or any market requiring an easy-to-use connector for small tubing.
