Power Climber Wind revealed a new and faster Turbine Service Lift at Windpower 2012 in Atlanta. Driven by a hoist with overspeed and slack rope safety devices, the lift travels 70 ft/min. Fault monitoring and a system status display enhance operator safety and confidence.
“Putting the operator in control significantly increases safety, productivity, and confidence,” global product manager Gregory Crew says. The company manufactures the lift at the company’s ISO 9001:2008 certified facilities. The lifts also have AECO approval under ASME A17.7/CSA B44.7.
