Diamond WTG Engineering & Services, a group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, has signed a five-year agreement with MidAmerican Energy Company to provide state-of-the-art service support for the 50 units of one megawatt (MWT-1000A) wind turbines at MidAmerican’s Century and Intrepid Wind Projects, in Hamilton and Buena Vista Counties, Iowa.
“We are honored to have been selected by MidAmerican Energy Company as their preferred Independent Service Provider (ISP) to ensure this energy complex operates at maximum efficiency,” said Harm Toren, President and CEO of Diamond. “It is also a reflection of our commitment to set the industry’s standard of excellence in providing 24/7 support to a generation of renewable energy facilities crucial to America’s future.”
Toren added: “During 2016, we expect to continue to expand our portfolio of ISP customers as we demonstrate a multi-disciplined approach to addressing the needs of owners that share our vision in how wind turbine technology can power our nation while contributing to environmental protection.”
