Ergodyne’s intros advanced hi-vis GloWear gear

Staying visible on the job isn’t an option for some workers – it’s a year-round requirement. Ergodyne believes staying warm and dry should be no different. That’s why it has introduced two new hi-vis thermal jackets and another color of its most popular model to its GloWear Foul Weather Gear Series.

“Work doesn’t stop when the temperature drops and neither do struck-by hazards,” said Andy Olson, product director, Ergodyne. “These new GloWear thermal jackets are built for the long haul during the short days of winter, and will take warmth and visibility off the list of weather-related worries.”

The GloWear 8381 Type R Class 3 Performance 3-in-1 Bomber Jacket prevents struck-by accidents with ANSI-compliant high visibility. Made with durable ripstop fabric, this jacket can change with the temperature. Workers can choose to wear the complete jacket or zip out the liner to wear just the weatherproof shell.

Thanks to the liners with quilted sleeves, it can become a fleece vest worn as a standalone in non-hi-vis situations. Black panel designs hide dirt and wear, and pockets and mic tabs provide storage galore. There’s even a hidden external zippered pocket designed specifically to hold an iPad or tablet, accessible without unzipping the jacket.

The fleece-lined GloWear 8384 Type R Class 3 Thermal Parka has a unique liner designed for comfort and function. Insulated, quilted sleeves won’t bunch or ride up. Storage is no sweat with two front snap flap pockets, one internal pocket and dual mic tabs for clipping radios. There are black panel designs to hide dirt and wear, and an inset hood has drawstring and stoppers.

Last but not least, our popular GloWear 8377 Type R Class 3 Quilted Bomber Jacket is now available in orange.
