Eriez offers its HydroFlow sump cleaner for gearboxes

By Paul Dvorak | April 11, 2016

Eriez HydroFlow has expanded its inventory to enable even faster shipment and delivery of state-of-the-art Sump Cleaners.  The company’s most widely used Sump Cleaner model, the 50 gallon 120 volt electric unit, as well as components and tank assemblies for units up to 175 gallon capacity are now in stock and available for quick shipment.

The company’s most widely used 120V Sump Cleaner model has a 50 gallon capacity.

“We constantly search for new ways to improve our processes to exceed the evolving requirements and demands of the industries we serve,” says Ron Wendt, Eriez HydroFlow Product Manager.  “By identifying the Sump Cleaner products with the fastest shipping requirements and adding these items to our stock, we can provide more immediate solutions to customers’ most common fluid recycling challenges.”

Eriez offers the widest selection of Sump Cleaners in the industry. These advanced units rapidly remove fluid, sludge and chips from the sump and filter the sludge and chips from the fluid via the reusable integral filter liner before returning the filtered fluid to the sump. A polypropylene filter sleeve filters to a nominal 50 microns.

For finer filtration, a single-use paper filter sleeve (to 20 microns nominal) can be inserted into the chip basket. “Our easy lift chip basket lid assembly makes removing the lid to get access to the filter basket a simple, quick and very safe way to perform this task,” explains Wendt.

The Eriez Sump Cleaner line includes LP Gas (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) powered Sump Cleaners, Electric Sump Cleaners and Air Venturi Sump Cleaners with capacities from 50 to 275 gallons.  Eriez experts work with customers to match the right Sump Cleaner to satisfy their application needs.

“Each type of Eriez Sump Cleaner offers distinct advantages over competitive models,” explains Wendt. “Our 120 volt units stand out as the most powerful suction units on the market by a big margin. Our Air Venturi units offer the best suction performance with the least amount of air required for operation. Our LP gas and three-phase electric units have unique sound reduction mufflers for quiet operation.”  He adds, “These are just a few highlights of our high quality Sump Cleaners. All are available on a quick ship basis.”
