Offshore Wind Industry Update Briefing

Register for the Network’s Offshore Wind Industry Day in Baltimore, Maryland on March 6th from 12:30 – 5:00 pm. The industry day is directly following the 2-day BOEM Offshore Wind and Maritime Industry Knowledge Exchange.  Industry Day will include presentations from U.S. BOEM and Deepwater Wind, Orsted, US Wind on MD, NJ, NY and VA. After attending Industry Day, join us at one of our training locations March 7th and 8th to attend “Foundation to Blade” for comprehensive industry training.

This offshore wind farm training course will teach you an in-depth understanding of all aspects of the offshore wind industry. The course structure provides a solid, deep, all-around platform with a complete explanation of how the entire offshore wind industry works from which future industry specialization may be built.  Course contents include technological developments of offshore wind farms; different types of wind turbines implemented for offshore projects; control of offshore wind farms protection; and reliability assessment of offshore wind technologies. You will learn more than the fundamentals of offshore wind farms as leave with an understanding of the most important emerging topics in this form of renewable, clean energy generation.
