The new EvoTorque2, AC-powered torque multipliers are factory calibrated and certified to an accuracy of ±3%, regardless of fluctuating voltages.

Norbar Torque Tools has introduced EvoTorque2, a new generation of AC-powered torque multipliers with unprecedented accuracy, versatility, and ease of operation.

This tool is factory calibrated and certified to an accuracy of ±3%, regardless of fluctuating voltages. Operating ranges are available from 100 to 4,500 lb-ft (135 to 6,000 N•m). The wrench measures in torque, torque and angle, and torque audit mode for pre-tightened bolts.

EvoTorque2 is offered in 110 or 230 Vac versions. It is lightweight at only 23 lbs (10.4 kg). Communication is via USB and Bluetooth 4.0 data transfer (also called Bluetooth Smart). Up to 3,000 readings can be stored in internal memory with time and date stamping.

‘EvoLog’ PC software manages data and tool configuration. EvoTorque2 is the ideal wrench for wind-power applications, from factory to field, for fabrication, installation, verification, and maintenance. Norbar also offers a full line of torque tightening and calibration tools for nearly every bolting application — with torque tools from 0.221 to 221,268 lb-ft. (0.3 to 300,000 N•m).

Norbar has some of the widest ranges of torque tools globally, supported by the company’s electronic torque-measurement program. All transducers up to 73,000 lb-ft (100,000 N•m) can be provided with UKAS accredited certification to ISO17025 for a level of traceability that every modern business requires.
