World experts to converge in New York for World Green Energy Event – Earth Day 2014

The State of New York will play host to the world’s top sustainable energy experts from the public and the private sector who will provide information on policies, case studies, innovative products, contracting, and funding opportunities. The economic opportunities and the power of new energy will be unveiled in Niagara Falls and Buffalo New York on April 22 to 24, 2014 at the 6th Annual World Green Energy Symposium.

This World event has been held in major cities and venues and is known for drawing thousands of participants from a broad array of energy related disciplines. The World Exhibitor Showcase will contain the latest products and innovations, as well as master class lectures and workshops conducted by renowned experts in the field. The program agenda provides a world stage of education and information exchange.

The World Green Energy Symposium draws industry leaders, government officials, universities, environmental and economic experts, scientists, entrepreneurs, innovators, government agencies, financial lenders and investors, manufacturers, and nonprofit organizations who engage in a platform of education and information exchange using sustainable technologies and sustainable development as a vantage point to increase the economics in communities.

On a global and national level programs and exhibits featured will include: sustainable energy alternatives, climate control innovations, technologies to decrease carbon emissions, new technologies to reduce landfills, manufacturing of renewable products, data centers and grid updates, information on latest policies and tax incentives, matchmaking and information directly from the state and federal procurement agencies on new projects, case studies and contracting opportunities, exporting and trade experts and opportunities discussed, details on careers and new disciplines – all are addressed at the WGES by top experts while the WGES World Exhibitors Showcase their latest products and technologies currently available to meet procurement requirements in both government and private sector and to benefit businesses, homes, and communities.”

Some of the programs featured by the State include; the State of New York’s $1 billion initiative known as the NY Green Bank which supports clean energy economy while promoting job creation and fostering a cleaner environment throughout the state. In addition; the program will highlight the electric car program which features more than 325 new electric-vehicle charging stations and promoting the proliferation of electrified parking spaces. An update on the $100 million allocated to Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative proceeds for the new Cleaner Greener Communities program. The Regional Economic Development Councils will update on project opportunities designed to support smart growth and sustainability planning and a highlight on what projects and strategies are in effect to meet the goal of 20% increase in energy efficiency in state buildings over the next seven years.

Attendees will be provided with opportunities to network with others in the green energy field and the symposium is the perfect place for learning, exchanging, exhibiting, procuring, and investing in the future of latest energy technologies.
