Meteo-Logic says its service meets specific requirements for real-time forecast (example in picture) add-ons for turbine management systems, turbine manufacturers, and consulting companies specializing in renewable energy.
A technology company that provides accurate, location-based, automatic weather and power forecasts, has introduced prediction services for the renewable energy market. Meteo-Logic says its custom-made accurate power and weather forecasting service is intended to meet the needs of businesses in the renewable energy market that require the highest level of accuracy to enhance overall planning performance and profitability.
The system also offers the following advantages to wind and solar farm operators:
• Output power prediction for each wind-farm turbine
• Output power prediction per solar panel farm
• Accurate assessment of power demand
The company says its technology analyzes meteorological historical data at specific weather points, focusing on understanding the relationship between the actual measurements and the short-term predictions provided for the specific location. This lets Meteo-Logic provide detailed hourly weather and power parameters and the best predictions for any specific forecasting point and its surroundings.
The company’s system is used in solar and wind farms to obtain accurate short-term forecasting of weather parameters and provide accurate prediction of power production at any given time. This is necessary to meet the service-level agreement with the a utility and avoid penalties arising from discrepancies between committed and actual delivery.
“Weather is the main cause of uncertainty in the renewable energy market and our highly accurate predictions can help operators dramatically reduce financial risk while maximizing profits and reducing direct and indirect expenses,” says Igal Zivoni, Meteo-Logic founder and CEO..

Dear Krinta,
There is no 100% accuracy. The results are always compared against the available options in the market. In that regards we are doing very well and alimenting the need for a very complex process of transfer area wind forecast to farm’s output power, taking into account the differences in the production of each turbine due to the topography location, screenings etc. Our algorithm uses the turbine DB and produces an accurate prediction per the specific turbine.
Service cost is annually, per turbine. You are more than welcome to contact us directly to have more details

is it can possible for 100% accurate? how much cost for this?
