ZF Services North America LLC has hired Don Lind as sales manager, with a primary focus on wind-turbine gearbox services. Lind will be responsible for increasing the presence of ZF Services in North America’s wind energy market.
In his new role, Lind will report to Scott Gardiner, Manager of Wind Turbine Remanufacturing and Service, ZF Services North America. “ZF is excited to have such an experienced and seasoned sales professional joining the team,” said Gardiner. “Don’s previous role as a gearbox service sales manager makes him an ideal match for our current requirements.”
Lind comes to ZF from competitor Moventas, having worked directly with wind turbine manufacturers such as Vestas, Accion, and GE, as well as many wind farm owner-operators and utilities. With twenty plus years of industry experience, Lind will oversee account development and new market growth.
