Gearbox oil samples ready in seconds

By Paul Dvorak | March 23, 2018

The LP Pushbutton valve provides highly representative samples from a gearbox circulating line, filtration system or hydraulic return line.

At an altitude of 300 feet (100 meters)in a wind turbine in sometimes harsh environments, sampling should be fast, clean and

accurate for both gearbox and hydraulic systems. The LP Pushbutton provides highly representative samples from a gearbox circulating line, filtration system or hydraulic return line.

The LP Pushbutton

  • Easy to use: Push to open the valve and release to close
  • Get live oil samples in seconds
  • In an emergency situation, avoid the risk of over draining the oil while the hose is left to drip out from sampling viscous gear oil
  • 360° rotating spout offers convenient sampling and installation without swivel fittings
  • Optional locknut feature increased protection against high vibration or accidental openings
  • Avoid questionable reports from any system from samples drawn with cross-contaminated hoses
  • The 360° rotating spout offers convenient sampling and installation without swivel fittings.

    Sample without shutting down

  • No probes needed, no tubing required, no vacuum pumps
  • Optional adapter extension
  • A variety of thread options available
  • For sampling pressures 3 to 125 psi or high-visocisty oils. For higher pressures with low-viscosity oils see our KP PushbuttonRequest a sample sampling valve: https://goo.gl/Yr8b7u
