General Cable launches new corporate & North America websites with enhanced navigation

By Paul Dvorak | August 24, 2015

General Cable announces the launch of its redesigned Global Corporate and North America company websites, which may be found at General Cable. Key features of the sites include a sleeker design, an engaging user experience with more intuitive navigation and improved search functionality. General Cable newebsite

“The new GeneralCable.com site provides a consistent look and feel for our customers and partners,” said General Cable’s Brian Moriarty, Senior VP, Global Sales Strategy & North America Sales. “This launch is Phase One of our plans to improve General Cable’s digital presence. We’ll continue to enhance and evolve the site at the speed of business.”

Users will land on a new Global Corporate page, which will then direct them to an appropriate regional site based on their selected country. If United States or Canada is selected, the new North America site will then offer fast access to information about General Cable’s markets, products & solutions, career opportunities, and valuable resources in its Information Center. The North America site is being launched in English, Spanish and French.

“Our site is more mobile and tablet-friendly, which will help us to engage with our customers on their own terms, whenever and wherever they are,” continued Moriarty.
