General Tools & Instruments announces its 2014 full-line tools and instruments catalog, which is available in traditional print format, digital format and can also be viewed on the General website at http://www.generaltools.com.

Featuring more than 1,300 items, the 292-page, full-color glossy catalog presents General’s complete product line, including both existing and new products in categories such as Woodworking, Specialty Tools, Video Inspection, Electrical and many more. The two sections of the catalog—one for tools and the other for instruments—are organized by product category and formatted for easy product look-up.

The 2014 catalog also introduces several new products and line expansions. Most notably, the expansions of General’s line of electrical instruments and line of video inspection systems. The electrical line includes new clamp meters, multimeters, electrical testers and multi-component kits. Features and specifications can be found for all of these products, along with comparison charts to help consumers choose the appropriate clamp meter or multimeter for their particular application.

General’s innovative PalmScope (DCS950) is featured as one of the newest products in the video inspection line. The PalmScope is the world’s first full-featured pocket-sized video inspection system, simplifying numerous maintenance and inspection applications, such as detecting leaks and cracks, reading hidden serial and model numbers, and inspecting corrosion and deposit buildup. Affordability, convenience and utility make this product perfect for techs, contractors and DIYers.

Other notable new products introduced in the 2014 catalog include the Crown King (880) crown molding jig, the lighted tools line, and an array of other products and kits in the tool line widely used by contractors, professionals, technicians, DIYers and hobbyists in a broad range of industries.
