Graco introduces entry-level system for polyurea coatings

By Steven Bushong | September 19, 2013

Graco recently introduced an electric proportioning system for pure and hybrid polyurea coatings. The Reactor E-10hp High-Pressure Proportioner works for waterproofing projects, especially projects where portability is a factor, such as swimming pools, terraces and residential balconies. The system could also be applied to windpower projects.

With the E-10hp boosted heat and insulated tanks, material heats up fast in 20 minutes in 240V mode.

With the E-10hp boosted heat and insulated tanks, material heats up fast in 20 minutes in 240V mode.

“It’s an affordable option for the entry-level coatings contractor who wants to get into the coatings business,” says Nick Pagano, Worldwide Product Marketing Manager at Graco. “Because it runs on residential power, there’s no need to buy a generator or spray rig. It’s portable and compact enough for hard-to-reach areas, and for larger polyurea contracting companies, it makes a great back-up touch-up system as well.”

The Reactor E-10hp is engineered with unique boost heat and insulated tanks for faster material heating. The boost heat uses extra available power from the motor circuit when the machine is in recirculation mode, and applies the unused power to additional heater rods. “The robust hybrid heater provides more power and faster material heating, which means more uptime and better productivity for contractors,” says Pagano.

The Reactor E-10hp is portable, compact enough to fit through doorways and plugs into standard 120V or 230V outlets. For more information, click here.
