Heavy and high-lift crane rental

A rental firm furnished a Manitowoc M2250 with Maxer 2000 attachment for the mechanical installation of eight 2.5-MW Clipper C-93 wind turbines on 80-m towers near Cathedral City, California. The crane, equipped with 340-ft main boom and 362,000-lb ballast wagon, was configured to lift nacelles weighing 175,000 lbs at a radius of 75 ft, while maintaining about 85% percent.
