HYTORC has continued the expansion of its brand with the launch of HYTORC Technologies. With the move, the company is consolidating the brand formerly known as HydroWer, which over the past four decades has become an international leader in the creation of hydraulic technology, including pumps, gauges, compensators and valves. HydroWer specializes in pumps for hydraulic torque wrenches and components. The company acquired HydroWer in 2012.
“Over the past four years, HYTORC and HydroWer have been able to achieve incredibly high levels of collaboration and efficiency – something we will continue and expand upon as we open this next chapter,” said HYTORC president Eric Junkers. “HYTORC Technologies will bring greater opportunities for growth and success for our company in the short and long term.”
In addition to its new name, HYTORC Technologies is also moving into a new and larger facility, but will remain in the same town of Sprockhövel, Germany. This expanded facility will let the company bring together all its departments, setting the stage for more efficient collaboration and an enhanced production process.
The new company looks to increase its output significantly with the newly expanded manufacturing space. The company currently employs 90 people across two production lines – one that assembles pumps and another that conducts comprehensive tests on the pumps. The parent firm plans to incorporate a third production line, which would focus on assembling and testing air pumps, in the near future.
“As we move ahead, HYTORC Technologies will continue to innovate in the design and production of high-quality pumps, working toward developing a new generation of products that deliver numerous benefits to our customers,” said Jason Junkers, HYTORC CEO.
