L-com, a designer and manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced says it has expanded its line of rack mount lightning and surge protectors to include 12 and 24-port models, in addition to its 4-port models. L-com’s RMSP series rack mount protectors span a variety of types including Cat 5, Cat 6, and DSL/ Telephone/T1 models. Each unit provides superior lightning and surge protection to help prevent damage to expensive network equipment.
The new 2U 12-port protectors are constructed from 1/16-in. thick cold rolled steel and are flat black powder coated.
“Many inquired about providing multiple line protection. The 12 and 24 port protectors allow maintaining flexibility and integrate protection into existing racks,” said Ken Burgner, Product Manager.
