L-com releases 4G/LTE amplifier and kits

By Paul Dvorak | March 28, 2016

L-com Global Connectivity, a preferred manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, has announced that it has launched a new 4G/LTE amplifier.  L-com’s HA72170-NF 4G/LTE booster can capture a weak cellular signal that might be common when working on large wind farms, and strengthen it to provide crystal clear calls and fast, consistent data speeds while reducing the number of dropped calls.

The HA72170-NF booster can wirelessly connect more than 25 mobile devices and works with 2G, 3G and 4G networks on all major US cell carriers.

“An increasing number of devices depend on a reliable cellular signal for voice service and data. Dropped calls, slow data speeds and shortened battery life are just some of the issues related to weak cell signal. Our 4G/LTE booster can take a cellular signal and amplify and rebroadcast it from within a building or structure to provide better connectivity for cellular subscribers,” said Ken Burgner, Product Manager.

The HA72170-NF 4G/LTE booster is FCC certified and features automatic gain control for consistent coverage. The LED console display indicates signal levels and makes installation quick and easy. Kits are available with indoor and outdoor antennas and coaxial cables in lengths of 25, 50 and 75 feet.

L-com also offers products such as indoor and outdoor HyperLink brand wireless antennas, low-loss coax cabling and surge protection devices.
