L-com Global Connectivity, a designer and manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, has released a new series of outdoor-rated, continuous flex Ethernet cable assemblies.

Intended for industrial or outdoor environments, these exclusive ultra flexible Category 5e and Category 6a patch cords from L-com are built to take a beating. The cables utilize an outdoor-rated flame-retardant thermoplastic elastomer (FR-TPE) jacket that is resistant to oil and UV damage while maintaining a CMX flame rating. Double shielding coupled with L-com’s shielded RJ45 connectors reduce EMI/RFI interference.

“These new industrial Ethernet cable assemblies bridge the gap between OSP applications and more traditional indoor industrial network installations,” said Dave Gallagher, Product Manager. “These new rugged cable assemblies are perfect for a range of applications.”

The cables are available off the shelf in a range of lengths, from one foot to 50 feet. Custom length versions are available upon request.

The work environment is very worse, so the requires to the components in wind turbine is very high. Slip ring is necessary for wind energy. Ethernet slip ring especially design for 250MHz frequency to transmit 100M/1000M ethernet signals, and Ars’s ethernet slip ring solutions have bee developed to provide reliable products to allow transfer Ethernet protocol through a rotating interface.
