Lincoln Electric launches online Power Wave resources site

By Paul Dvorak | February 15, 2013

Lincoln PowerWave resource guideMost everything welding engineers and operators need to know about Lincoln Electric’s popular Power Wave advanced process welding power sources is gathered in one easy-to-use micro web site. Found at lincolnelectric.com/pwresources, the Power Wave Resources page provides access to a number of tools at the click of a mouse, providing fabricators with the details they need 24/7 at any factory or site around the world.

The new resources page hosts a variety of content for Power Wave owners and those considering purchase of these advanced welders, including product specifications, advanced process white papers and application guides, support software, upgrade paths, savings calculators, videos and customer success profiles. Here, customers can access the latest versions of Power Wave firmware and welding waveform software for specific materials, shielding gases, and applications. Other available tools include Power Wave Manager, used to manage the power source operations, and CheckPoint, the company’s innovative mobile-ready, cloud-based production monitoring solution.

“Not only do we aim to offer innovative welding equipment, we also want to provide our customers with the support and insight they need to get the most from these products,” says Matt Albright, Product Manager Advanced Welding Equipment at Lincoln Electric. “Through the new Power Wave Resources site, fabricators can access the software, documents and tools they need in a simple, user-friendly format.”

The Lincoln Electric Company, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, is the world leader in the design, development and manufacture of arc welding products, robotic arc welding systems, fume control systems, plasma and oxyfuel cutting equipment and has a leading global position in the brazing and soldering alloys market.
