Lincoln Electric to host Wind Tower Welding Seminar Sept. 4

Seminar to provide information on the wind energy industry and wind tower fabrication

The Lincoln Electric Co. will provide solutions on wind-tower fabrication and information on the wind-energy industry from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 4 at its automation division.

The Lincoln Electric Co. will provide solutions on wind-tower fabrication and information on the wind-energy industry from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 4 at its automation division. The seminar is open to fabricators and alternate energy enthusiasts.

The seminar will begin with Ed Weston, director, from the Global WIND Network speaking about how wind energy is a growing industry. It will then transition into Lincoln Electric’s overview on wind tower welding. Attendees will learn about the company’s equipment, mechanized automation and consumable solutions for wind tower fabricators.

The seminar will also provide demonstrations on plasma cutting, vision systems, robotic and tandem submerged arc welding processes. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with subject matter experts during the extended lunch hour.
