If you can measure something, you can improve it, say control engineers. Sensors Expo, the largest event gathering of sensors and sensor-integrated technology professionals in North America has announced a multitude of new exhibitors who will be featured in the exhibit hall. This year’s event will bring together over 4,000 engineers, scientists and industry professionals from around the world to see the latest innovations in sensing technology. Sensors Expo & Conference will take place at The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, Wednesday, June 25 to Thursday, June 26 with Pre-Conference Symposia scheduled for Tuesday, June 24.

In the conference sessions, attendees will be able to explore up-to-date innovations and applications in sensors technology including Chemical & Gas Sensing, Energy Harvesting for Sensor Applications, IoT: Internet of Things, M2M, MEMS, and more.
“Many of the companies will be offering attendees the first chance to see new products and services in MEMS, Energy Harvesting, Wireless, IoT, and more,” said Wendy Loew, Event Director, Questex Media Group, producer of the annual event.
In addition to industry leaders Analog Devices, Arrow Electronics, Honeywell Sensing & Control, LORD MicroStrain, Parker Hannifin, PCB Piezotronics, Rohm Co., Texas Instruments, there are many new exhibitors participating at the 2014 event, including:
4D Technology, BestProto Inc, California Eastern Laboratories/NEC, DELO Industries, ZMDI, and dozens more.
Sensors Expo will offer several featured areas on the Expo Floor, including the Sensors Magazine Live Theater, IPSO Challenge 2014, the HPCC Pavilion, the Mouser Electronic Pavilion, the MEMS Pavilion & Innovation Area, the Energy Harvesting Pavilion, the M2M & Wireless Pavilion as well as a New Product Showcase featuring Arrow & Honeywell, Semiprobe, Parker-Hannifin, Corporation, GetWireless, Pixelteq by Ocean Thin Films and Samyoung S&C Co., Ltd, to name a few.
In the conference sessions, attendees will be able to explore up-to-date innovations and applications in sensors technology including Chemical & Gas Sensing, Energy Harvesting for Sensor Applications, IoT: Internet of Things, M2M, MEMS, Novel Approaches to Measurement & Detection, Power Management for Sensors Applications, Sensors@Work and Wireless. This year’s event features keynote speaker, Luigi Gentile Polese, Senior Engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory who will present “Reimaging Building Sensing and Control” on Wednesday, June 25 at 9:00 am.
