Meggitt to launch three Endevco products at Sensors Expo

By Nic Sharpley | June 6, 2014

Meggitt Sensing Systems will introduce three new products in the Endevco line at the upcoming Sensors Expo in booth #615.

Meggitt Sensing Systems will introduce three new products in the Endevco line at the upcoming Sensors Expo in booth #615.

Meggitt Sensing Systems booth at the 2014 Sensors Expo & Conference will mark the global introduction of three additions to the Endevco product line.

  • PODs is the first accelerometer system that makes it possible to test acceleration over as many as three frequency ranges in up to three axes from a single measurement point. Innovative mounting bases mix and match with a range of swappable Isotron (integral electronic piezoelectric) sensors with sensitivities from 10 to 1,000 mV/g.
  • The new 500 family of low-noise signal conditioners for Isotron transducers matches competitive devices in price and lead-time without sacrificing the quality for which the Endevco name is known. The 500H, a two-channel, handheld unit, will be a part of a live demonstration of general purpose accelerometers, cables and electronics.
  • ReferenceMate, a portable vibration reference source, enables users in the field to easily verify sensor performance and the integrity of the cabling and connectors between the sensor and the data acquisition system. It is the only handheld shaker with multiple frequency outputs, eliminating manual conversions between imperial, metric or calibration sheet values.

On the conference floor
Margie Mattingly, Engineering Director, will make an expert presentation on “Challenges of High Temperature Sensing,” June 25 at 2:40 p.m., as a part of the conference track on “Novel Approaches to Measurement & Detection.” Mattingly will speak about designing an accelerometer measurement chain to fit the requirements of high- and extreme-temperature applications, such as gas turbine engines, nuclear power generation and space vehicle applications.

On the exhibition floor
Visitors to booth #615 will have the opportunity to enter a raffle via badge scan for a GoPro video and still camera to capture action in almost any environment.
