Motion control manufacturer opens office in Istanbul

By Kathie Zipp | May 1, 2012

Moog Industrial Group supplies electric and hydraulic motion control products and systems for energy production, power generation, industrial production and auto and aero test and simulation. The company says it’s served the Turkish market for more than ten years, predominantly the defense industry, and so is opening an office in Istanbul.

Moog says the sales and services office will support existing customers and business prospects. Other than wind energy, customers use Moog’s solutions in a wide range of applications including blow and injection molding, metal forming, robotics, power generation, and simulation and test.

“Moog supplies high-performance technology aimed at efficiency, flexibility and energy savings. Our extensive know-how will deliver significant benefits to customers in Turkey,” says Giovanni Mazzullo, Moog sales director for Southeast Europe. “We believe Turkey is a growing market with a lot of promise, especially in the industrial sector.”
