All U.S. workshop repairs are being consolidated to the new facility in Big Spring, with Canadian workshop repairs continuing in the Cambridge, Ontario facility. The consolidated structure allows Moventas to serve the North American marketplace more efficiently with workshop repairs and gives Moventas a strong presence in the state with the single biggest installed base in the United States. This will provide Moventas a platform for growth over the coming years for workshop repairs and also field services.
“The consolidation of US workshop repair activities is at the core of Moventas’ revised strategy for North America. Focus of this strategy is to provide our customers with a comprehensive and cutting-edge offering to help them win in a highly competitive market.”
