Multipurpose datalogger ready for wind data tasks and more

By Paul Dvorak | December 31, 2014

The CR6 series also introduces a new universal (U) terminal, a clever way for allowing almost any sensor, analog digital or smart, to be connected to any U terminal.

The CR6 Series of measurement and control datalogger is a core component for data acquision systems. The developer combined the best features of all its dataloggers and added faster communication, low power requirements, built in USB, compact size, and improved analog input accuracy and resolution. The CR6 series also introduces a new universal (U) terminal, a clever way for allowing almost any sensor, analog digital or smart, to be connected to any U terminal. This is also the developer’s first multipurpose datalogger capable of doing static vibrating wire measurements. A few benefits include a surge and over-voltage protection on all terminals, flexible power input from solar panel, dc power supply, 12V battery, or USB. It also features onboard communication by Ethernet 10/100, and a microSD card drive for extended memory requirements.
