N-Ferno thermal tops and bottoms, from Ergodyne. Don’t you feel warmer already?

By Paul Dvorak | November 8, 2016

Ergodyne has redesigned two products in its N-Ferno Line: The 6435 Thermal Base Layer Long Sleeve and the 6480 Thermal Base Layer Bottoms. These thermal products were made with enhanced fabrics and features to help workers get the job done no matter what the working weather conditions may be.

An innovative moisture-wicking treatment sweeps sweat away from the skin to keep workers drier for longer.

“We redesigned these products with warmth and comfort in mind,” said Alsie Nelson, associate product manager, Ergodyne. “Unlike mere compression garments, these thermal base layers are the first step to help workers battle increasingly unpredictable work environments.”

The comfort stretch fabric on the new base layers has a soft brushed interior that locks in warmth. Flat lock seams and a smooth jersey exterior allow workers to layer clothing and bundle up without fear of bunching up. Strategically-placed venting in the armpits and groin assists with maintaining an optimal core body temperature.

The 6435 has been updated to include a crew neck, raglan sleeves for full mobility, and a longer tail in the back to prevent workers from becoming the “butt” of unwanted jokes. Lastly, new thumbholes prevent the dreaded creeping sleeve. The 6480 now has an extended waistband and back coverage for the optimal secure fit.

“Millennials have grown up wearing these kinds of performance fabrics,” said Tom Votel, president and CEO, Ergodyne. “We wanted to take what they know and give it a few enhancements for workplace comfort.”
