Nominations sought for Exceptional Individuals in Wind Power

By Michelle Froese | March 9, 2016

Wind-O&MNominations for the Exceptional Individual Achievement Award, a category of the Wind O&M Dallas Awards, are now open to the public. The Wind O&M Dallas Awards is a high-profile event that recognizes the successes and achievements of companies in the operations and maintenance sector.

The winner will be announced during the award’s dinner and ceremony, held on April 11, and will mark the launch the 8th annual Wind O&M Dallas conference and exhibition, an annual event that brings together hundreds of wind industry professionals, decision makers and investors.

For the second year running, E.ON Energy Services (EES) and the Danish Wind Power Academy Americas are the principal sponsors of the Awards.

“The Wind O&M Dallas Awards is a high-profile event that recognizes the successes and achievements of companies in the O&M space, and E.ON Energy Services is honored to be a principal sponsor,” said Keith Day, president of E.ON Energy Services. “In just short of a year, we’ve emerged as an important O&M player. There are many O&M providers, but E.ON’s experience as an owner and operator, along with our innovative Service With an Owner’s Eye approach, make us uniquely able to tackle common problems with uncommon solutions that are timely and cost-effective.”

To qualify, an individual must demonstrate a commitment and passion for wind energy and show dedication to helping advance the profile and value of wind power (in the U.S. or globally). Applicants are urged to not only think of their own achievements, but also of those they have worked with, either inside or outside of their companies.

Nomination can be made and submitted through the Wind O&M Dallas website.
