Eastern Wind Power also has plans to manufacture a mobile unit that would be applicable to disaster relief, remote location and developing countries. The turbine would be mounted horizontally in an ISO steel box loaded with all the necessary electronic equipment. The tower would be raised pneumatically or mechanically, using the box as a base. It could be transported by helicopter or on wheels.
