By Kathie Zipp | January 10, 2011

Settlers Trail Wind Farm is slated for completion in October 2011.

Workers are constructing a wind farm in Iroquois County, Illinois that will bring 150 MW of power to the surrounding region. Settlers Trail Wind Farm, which started construction in November of 2010, will consist of 94 GE 1.6 XLE turbines. The project is expected to complete in October 2011.

E.ON Climate and Renewables North America selected White Construction Inc. will provide engineering, procurement, and construction services. They will erect the turbines, construct access roads, and and design and build foundations and collection systems.
