Power Climber installed 45 IBEX climb assist systems at three wind farms.
Power Climber Wind, a division of SafeWorks, has installed 45 IBEX climb-assist systems in France for EOLE-RES, one of the top developers of renewable energy production in the Mediterranean region and the Middle east.
The IBEX system puts complete control of the climbing experience in the hands of the wind-turbine technician, delivering personalized performance, increased safety, and better productivity. The device uses a patented, closed feedback-loop and EasyClimb Controller, responding to the climber’s movement and behavior.
EOLE-RES selected the IBEX 1000 for installation on turbines at three of the wind farms it manages on behalf of The Renewables Infrastructure Group – Haut Languedoc, Haut Cabardès, and Roussas Claves.
