Tips for Maximizing the Financial Impact of Resource Measurements

By pcurran | March 5, 2013

Now is the time to evaluate how additional measurements could be used to maximize wind project value. With the recently passed PTC extension, many projects are slated for financing and completion in 2014. Additional measurements can have a substantial impact on the project economics by reducing the wind resource uncertainty. This is best achieved when additional measurements cover at least one full year. As such, getting more value out of a wind project means measuring more and starting now.

This webinar presents case studies that illustrate how additional met tower and remote sensing measurements can reduce energy assessment uncertainty and increase net present value and debt size. Examples are used to illustrate when investing in additional measurements pays off and when it does not. Practical tips on maximizing the payoff are provided.

Watch this webinar to learn:
-How additional met tower and remote sensing measurements can reduce energy assessment uncertainty and increase net present value
-How to maximize 2014 project value using resource measurements
