Pittman will be responsible for managing and overseeing the business development and account service team for Shermco MSD nationwide.  With approximately 10 years of electrical and energy related industry experience, Pittman has previously worked as a product line sales manager of aftermarket variable frequency drives for Eaton, and before that, as senior industrial sales engineer. Prior to Eaton, he worked as an electrical design consultant.

Shermco’s MSD maintains, repairs and remanufactures rotating electrical machines as well as a variety of other devices. Specializing in large industrial motors, wind turbine generators and specialty AC and DC motors and generators, Shermco offers extensive field service capabilities nationwide for both machines and power systems as well as repair and remanufacturing in their 100,000 SF, ISO 9001:2008 certified facility in Irving, Texas.  Shermco also repairs and remanufactures rotating machines in their St. Paul Minn. facility and supplies a wide range of new electric motors and generators from multiple locations.

“We are excited to have Doug onboard and part of the Shermco team. Our clients will greatly benefit from his practical application knowledge and industry expertise. Having Doug on our team furthers our strategy of providing services across North America to the industries we serve,” said Paul Idziak, Vice President of MSD for Shermco Industries.
